Extended Stay America Suites- Baltimore - Timonium

My friend and I have been staying at Extended Stay America In Timonium since June. It's a decent hotel. On Wednesday morning, someone set off the fire alarm by smoking in the stairwell. We are on the second floor and being on the second floor can be dangerous for someone in a wheelchair. The hotel needs to highly consider keeping guests with disabilities on the first floor.

I think people have forgotten that reviews should go both ways; not just the negative experiences. Upon checking in, i was greeted and helped by “Aisha”: she was super friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional! That alone set the tone for the rest of my 3 night stay. Another person that was also helpful and attentive was “Coco”. She was willing to extend our check out time (we had a lot of luggage). Thankfully we didn’t need it, but knowing we could, definitely removed some stress! Thank you both for making our stay an enjoyable one.

So far so good because of the location, room service, and convenience of making reservations at this site. The people actually have been very helpful to me and my family since our stay.

Ms June and her Staff are very polite, friendly. I especially Love the housekeepers Cleanliness And I also love the fact that they are very adamant on cleaning the rooms every two weeks definitely will stay at this location. My time here was wonderful.

It was clean and comfortable enough and my room didn't smell too strongly of cigarette smoke. Some dusting in the corners and some fresh paint really needed. But good enough to stay at for a few nights. Clean sheets and towels. I brought my own pillow and I needed an extra blanket as the comforter and sheet are pretty thin.

Clean and convenient. However, the furnishings show wear. The "breakfast" is a nutragrain bar, instant oatmeal packet, and packaged muffin with coffee and hot water for tea. Suited our needs well.

All of the staff was extremely nice and willing to help as best they could so they get an A+ for that. The place was clean, the grounds outside were clean with no overflowing garbage, etc. You can tell there are people that live in the hotel full-time so it's nice that the place we still clean. We were in room 104 which is a pet friendly suite room with 2 beds. The side door entrance the glass in the door was broken out and it's taped up with cardboard. An eyesore for sure but the door worked. The room was clean when we got into it. My dog is super picky and we look to him to determine whether a room is really clean (he's our little meter LOL). If he won't lay on the floor, we are out of there. He proceeded to lay on the floor and get comfortable so we unloaded our car. The only negative (it's a BIG one), once we unloading and wiping the car we saw a baby roach crawling on the toilet - I took a video of it. We only saw that one roach but it was enough for us to not get as comfortable as we usually would to ensure we didn't pack one up with us. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast is not a hot breakfast, it's a setup right across from the front desk that has coffee, tea, hot water, hot chocolate packets, oatmeal packets, granola bars and muffins. If you want a hot breakfast, you'll have to get it yourself somewhere else. The hotel is on an angle across the street from a 7-eleven so you might find some luck in there.
